to clear all

Select Tools and click Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Under History, click Clear History.
Click OK.

================

If the cached addresses are still listed in the Address box in Internet Explorer, use the following steps:
Quit Internet Explorer.
Delete all of the values except for the (Default) value from the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

NOTE: Values in this registry key are listed as Url1, Url2, Url3, and so on. If you delete only some values and the remaining values are not in consecutive numerical order, only some of the remaining entries are listed in the Address box. To prevent this behavior from occurring, rename the remaining values so that they are in consecutive numerical order.

Jaz,

It looks like you want to clear up the browser history in IE6.

To to this, you have to go to Tools >> Internet Options and you will see the Options box.

There you will see a series of buttons. You want to click on Clear History then Yes to confirm history deletion.

You can also clear up the Cookies and Caches (saved) files by clicking on their respective buttons and confirming the deletion.

here is a screen shot for your benefit.

just as a side note, if you are trying to cover your tracks, make a good copy of the registry keys that contain only things you want in there. Then when done doing what ever you are doing, import the reg file... Works like a charm..
