Angry Death of a Network

I upgraded my parents DSL network to a wireless network yesterday via a linksys wireless G router and two linksys wireless G cards. After initial installation both machines were working beatuifully and I could jump on using my Mac downstairs. This morning, one of the computers upstairs is still connected to the network (albiet very slow 3 mpb) but cannot connect to the internet. I've tried running Winsock and resetting the router to no avail. I'm not sure what could have gone wrong as it was working fine last night and the other computer upstairs as well as my Mac are having no difficulties today.

Your pearls of wisdom are greatly appreciated.

NO. Sorry if I didn't post that earlier. Today I try to ping the router and it fails. The wireless card is working properly and the machine recognized the network and I can print off of the wireless network.

does the machine have an ip address from the dhcp pool? i doubt it. run ipconfig to check.

recheck your settings, try swapping with a known good wireless card.
