Well sometimes when im on the Net it will just disconnect and act like it was disconnect or sometimes it disconnect and when i go to recconect it comes up With

678: Cannot connect to the remote computer

or something along those lines.
The people at the help desk dont give me a reason for it all they do is tell i have to reset my computer and it should work which it does sometimes but most of the time i have to reinstall the drivers for my modem what can i do to stop this or is it the modem.
Because i think the modem one of those el cheapo modems being a USB modem

If your modem can be connected with a network wire i would recomend doing that. Might solve your problem.
