Connection breaking up

Hi,

i am using a free wireless connection in my neighbourhood, the connection break ups a lot . is there some software or hardware that i can use to prevent this. i am very new to this

Free as in using someone else's network? or something that is legal? If using someone else's, please pay the money and get a connection for urself. Connection breakups can be cause by interference from home electronic devices, or simply the you are not establishing a strong connetion as the source may be too far away
