Default Configuring Wireless Adaptor

Alright so I just decided to get myself a Belkin Wireless G Desktop Network Card. I have used wireless adaptors connected through my USB before but this is my first PCI card. So I followed the directions. I installed the card and then the software. Everything was working great then it decided to say the connection was unavailable. So I changed the position of my tower giving the antenna a more direct path to the router. Just as I had thought, this had nothing to do with it. So here I am. I've updated the software/drivers and that didn't help. If I go into the Network Connections (using XP) I can disable the connection and the enable it and it will work for about 1/2 hour. Any advice??
