| Is it an IP address conflict? If so are you using a DSL router with DHCP enabled? Are both computers configured to obtain an IP address automatically? If so when they are both plugged in renew the IP on the one that cant get online and see what happens.

| Plug the modem into one of the computers. Then, from the computer that is plugged into the modem, make sure you can get on the internet. Once you confirmed that you are on the internet, click start > run and then type "cmd' without the quotes and hit enter. at the prompt it gives you type "ipconfig /all" again without quotes. Can you list the results it gives you on here? Just from the IP Address to the DNS Server address...thats all we need. The linksys device that you have more or less acts as a middle man and just passes information along. It doesn't know where it came from nor which computer was originally intended to receive the information. Your modem only has one live IP address to pass along to a computer. This is why you cannot connect using more than one. A home gateway/router will act a little differently because it will take that live IP address from the modem and use it. It then, essentially, makes up "fake" IP addresses to distribute to multiple computers that you have connected to it. I hope this makes a little sense to ya. I'm not too good with explaining things sometimes.
