Default Commanding a remote computer?

Is it possible for me to press a key from my main computer and that would send a command to a remote computer to carry out a command?

IE: I press the Ctrl key on my main computer and this makes the remote computer open microsoft word.

If anyone knows if this is possible, please post a way. This would save me hours of time

I'm not quite sure if this answers your question, however, there are several remote administrator programs available on the internet. Here is one that I have personally used and it's pretty good.

no, this isn't possible unless you use a remote administration application like the above link. I use Radmin as well and have for a long time now....works great!

if you could assign that key to a macro for the other machine, how would you use the control key on your local machine? you might want to use another shortkey. what you want to do is possible I'd say
