cloning issue

what is the best software to use to copy from computer (ide hard drive) to computer (sata hard drive) over tcp/ip (ethernet).

What version of Ghost?

I have Norton Ghost 9.0/2005 but I can't seen to do it via this.

What now?

Try Ghost 8. We use 8 in the office quite a bit, and it is really good for across network imaging.

Yea, Ghost 7, 8 or 9 work wonders. Use the versions that include the Multicast server

I'm not sure how to go about it really...

I've been talking to a few people, one person advised me to do the following:

install norton ghost on the current server
run sysprep
make an image using ghost
map the drive on the new server using ghost
then use ghost to restore the image onto the new drive

but will this work?

I will be using Ghost 9/2005
