City of Heroes and Linksys Router

I'd like to be able to play city of Heroes with my router, unfortunately I can not. I have followed all CoH's web site help, opened ports, but I still can not play.

I can go directly through the modem and have but that is causing issues with my roommate who gets all pouty when I take down the network.

I want to disable the firewall.

I currently have my laptop as the DMZ host, open ports with CoH, and the desktop is the computer with the game on it. I have tried setting up the desktop as the DMZ host and changed the IP is port fowards to and this did not work either.

I'm tired of my roommate having a temper tantrum and storming all over the house when I want to play my game. It irks me that he plays some other online game for 12 hours straight and I don't get to use my own internet connection for 2 hours with out such a display of rude behavior.

Someone Please help! (with the router not the roommate).
