Default China + Ports!!!!

Hey ho everyone,

I'm a student from New Zealand currently residing in Beijing, however I managed to bring a certain warcraft 3 addiction with me. My problem is that I believe that most ports are being blocked by the firewall, but I know that WC3 can use any port between 1000-40000. How do I find out which ports are able to be used for the game? I've included basic info below.

The game tries to connect to the server, times out

mIRC also does not work

I have both a 100mbps landline, and 56mbps wireless connection (perfect signal)

Anyone shed some light???

Walker

i think in the options menu you have the place to set the port just set it to whatever your firewall allows.

Every port scan i runs shows different results.... and none of the apparantly 'open' ports work for warcraft 3. MSN runs fine if that means anything, but mIRC does not.
