Default Change my IP address

I need to change my IP address for security reasons.
Im on XP, and my ISP is Charter. I have a static IP.
I need to know how to change my IP. Im using a linksys wireless router but all my computers are connected to it via seperate ethernet cables.

If you have a static ip from your provider you will have to call them and have it changed as they are the ones setting it. Or do you mean the ip address that is behind the router.

As veedubfreak stated, he will have to call the ISP to [plead] with them to change the public IP address. If it is the private IP address that needs to be changed, then either change the router's private IP address put the DHCP pool on the same subnet, or change the private Static IP addresses manually on all the hosts to be in the same subnet.
