| I moved my comp into my mom's bf's house because I am watching it for a couple weeks and I cannot connect to the internet. He has a Motorolla Surfboard 5120 cable modem. It keeps giving my the limited or no connection bubble. I cant find any drivers and I dont have the original disk. Is there a way that I could resolve this w/o the driver or does anyone know where I could find the driver? |

| Dope Tech | is the modem connected via ethernet (network cable) or USB cord? if you're connected via a network cable, then you shouldn't need drivers for the modem. You need drivers for your Network Interface Card. open control panel, open system properties, open device manager, uninstall the network card, and reboot. Turn the modem off and back on before the computer boots.
