Default Can I have multiple users connecting to their account from different PCs (inetworked)

Hey...

At school, we have over 300 computers and each student has his own User Name and Password. He can login to his account from anywhere; the lab, the library....

I was wondering if this is possible to establish it home if I have these several PCs connected together (network)

Is it possible for me, for example. to login to my user name from any computer...? Or does this need a server?

Thanx

I dont know of a way to do this, unless all computers are part of a domain. Basically, all your computers have local accounts, so they are all individually managed. You would need one computer to act as a domain controller, and it would be the central location for user accounts.
