Cable-internet Port Access Problem

My intenet provider is resitricting my cable-internet access into only few ports , so my question is anyone of you know a way to get around this problem ??
cuz right now I can't access any ftp site , I can't activate my msn webcam , .. and many other stuff.

Why would they restrict the accessible ports on your PC? If it is enabled it would be in the cable modem somewhere.
