Cable+Firewall

I just got a cable connection installed and now I cannot access the internet while my firewall is installed. I am using Sygate Personal Firewall Pro v5.5.

If I uninstall the firewall I can connect to the net. I have tried changing some of the settings in the firewall and allowed access for all programs but it will not allow internet explorer access to the net.

I'am using a Motorola SB5100 cable modem and Windows XP.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind I found the problem, problem was solved by unchecking the box in Kaspersky AV that says "Do not enable protection against network attacks at the system startup".

Problem solved by searching the net.
