    Default Broadband internet connection help


    I'm using Comcast broadband, and I'm having problems. When I first plug in the modem, as I have to share it with someone else, it takes a very long time for the packets to be recieved as fast as they're sent, and the connection is very very slow. Almost as slow as dial up. Could the modem be wearing out?

    It could be a bad modem it could also be that the system is bogged down. Contact Comcast and have them run a diagnostics on the modem.
