blue screen of death in network changing!!

hey guys well i set up my ibook and pc they are both running fine and i can get to the internet. on both very fine.. well its very wierd.. whenever i attempt to change my network settings for whatever reason about 5 min into messing around in it.. it gives me the blue screen error i have never gotten this this is the first time and i got it twice opening these network connections help! what can i do?

Have you tried a repair on your OS ?

it could possibly be a hardware issue. can you post the error message?
