Basic Networking Help/Setup

Ok.. We just got new TV Service from Hickorytech and they also upgraded the internet, they took out that white modem box.. The Westell One and they put like in a lil box under the table with an ethernet cable going into the back of the computer to the internet... How would i hook a router up to this? And i also want a print server? How do i hook that up?

put the cable from the "Box" into the router "LAN" port or whatever it says on the back of the router. Then take another Cat-5 and select port 1 (or whatever numbers you have) then put it into your machines NIC.
