Default bad internet connection

i do not know why but my dsl is so slow downloads start in the 100kbps range then it settles down to 18-25kbps I know there a registation keys I can tweak but I do not know how.

He meant registry keys...

Call your ISP, its most likely a problem on their end.

I get that too! At first I start off at 1500kb /sec a sec and I get downshifted to 512kb /sec. Are you sure that your supposed to be getting more than a 18-25 kb /sec download rate?

yes my friend has the same provider as me ad his downloads are
so much faster his downloads settle in the 150kb/sec area.

Call the ISP and ask about your incoming connection status.
