| Hi! I've disabled simple file sharing on my XP machine, and decided instead to assign passwords to users and groups. This seems to work fine for file sharing, but I'm having trouble with the printer. I've added the users to the printer permissions, and it prints fine if I go to network neighborhood, click on the PC with the printer and login first. However, I'd like to find a way to have the login box appear when I try to use the printer (from MS Word, etc), rather than having to login from network neighborhood beforehand. Another acceptable solution would be to login to the remote computer at startup. Any input would be greatly appreciated! -Dan |
