| True Techie | Recently, when Ive been downloading many torrents at once I lose the ability to load websites and after a few minutes the down speeds begin to decrease and eventually get to 0. My internet completely "dies". I restart my computer and sure enough, it works perfectly. I have a port open for my torrent program so they run perfectly for a little bit and then my connection goes to ****. Can anyone explain to me why it does this, and/or why restarting fixes internet connectivity problems? Anyone know any tricks to getting a connection back besides restarting? Thanks!

| You probally lose connection because your overloading your internet connection i think u need to set a max limit of how many torrents u can download at once i have mine set ot 3-5 at a time. When ur internet dies try unplugging and plugging back in ur internet cord.. |

| Oh my dad has this problem not the exact same but similar and he searched it up and found out that some ISP dont allow torrenting so they block it by either making it so when ur connecting to peers and seeders it will only stayed connected to them for a short period of time and then auto disconnect from them causing your torrent speed to go slow.... but he did not have the problem of his internet shutting off. |
