Default AOL as default browser with ISP other then AOL? IS it possible?

Well my question is how to configure AOL to work with my time warner/comcast ISP. I'm used ot the way AOL had things configured and i wanted to know if there was a way to do it. To have my aim and browser and yahoo e mail all in AOL. But without having the service of AOL. Has anyone tested that and can anyone help me on this. My gaurdian did it and well i just wanted to do it. [He had a tech guy do it over the phone with him and he had to have his aol screen name] I dont have that so i wanted to know if anyone knew if this is just enevitable without it or wha? yea.....any help?
