BASSMASTER

Default Another remote desktop question

Maybe theres an easy solution and I'm just not thinking straight.

Friend of mine has a static IP address on his Windows XP machine at work, where he wants to connect remotely. This machine is also behind a firewall.

He wants to connect remotely from his home machine which has a dynamic IP. If it was the other way around it's an easy setup, you just need software to monitor the host's IP address and send an email to notify.

But how could you set this up?

I use no-ip myself, and it's great. This free Dynamic DNS service from dyndns is excatly what I'm looking for.

Thanks bro, you're always very helpful.
