alternative to wireless antennae cable?
Hi guys
Im building a DIY wireless antennae.. cantenna basically..
problem is, i can't seem to find the exact cable used in most of the DIY manuals/tutorials out there.. nope.. got no radio shack here.
anyway, would it be possible to use alternative cables?
I was thinking about CABLE TV wire... it's very similar to the ones used in Wireless Antennaes..
can i use that?

Cable TV wire (Coaxial) is the same. It's just generally low quality and very lossy. It will work but you'd be better off with quality coax meant for these types of applications. Much less signal loss with good cable.
