| Congratulations. I remember the day I got broadband after being on dial-up for so long. It was such a joyous day.

| Aye I remember when getting 20k/s on my brand spanking new cable connection was amazing, now I take it for granted, if I get less than 30 I'm ****ed
BTW if you plan on doing any online gaming make sure you have a wired connection, wireless can be pretty crappy for realtime needs especially if you've encrypted it (which you should have if you don't want your neighbor getting a free internet connection).

| Re: lol yea, me too, and plus, my network was the only one i could detect with 3 wireless G cards at different places
my neighbors all either use DSL or dial-up except one person, but whoever he/she is cancelled cable
edit: broadband is like crack; now i send files over aim to friends at over 50kb/s; i used to remember doing it at 2-3kb/s

i dont usually get 317kbps, but depending on the source i usually get around 280-300 kbps.
I remember my dial up 3.2kbps woohoo.
Cable (or highspeed for the matter) makes the internet a whole new experience.

| Yes I get mad if I download at any lower than 30KB/sec I expect it to be around 160KB/sec. Although I am moving and I dont know that I will be able to get my same 1.5mbps..I might have to goto 384kbps..
