| BiiKeЯ-Boy | hi, i have just got one of these from my friend its old but it still powers on etc.. now i have it all ready etc but i need to install it by doin this.. ( heres the site on the 3Com internet firewall: Support for 3Com® OfficeConnect® Internet Firewall DMZ (3C16771-US) - Support and Registration ) go to http://192.168.1.254 or i have to go to http://my.3com.com but when i press enter nothing happens and it doesnt come up with anything but theres no way i can do this.. does anyone know how to get round this or no another way ? | Connect one of the computer to the Ethernet port on the firewall. If the computer show no IP address when you do ipconfig /all, DHCP isn't enable by default on the firewall so set your computer IP address to something in the same subnet. Use 192.168.1.100 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254 And then try connecting to 192.168.1.254 with your browser. Use IE. Make sure you use the guide on how to set the firewall back to factory default. |
