   |  2wire Hey guys i am running into network problems with this modem: Model: 2WIRE1000SW Firmware:3.5.7 ( Up-to-Date) My System Specs: Core 2 Duo E6300 GA-945GM-S2 2GB RAM Corsair OS: XP Pro SP2 I am connected to the modem using a RJ-11(Phone line) port to USB (thats the technology with this censored). The problem: Every three hours i get lagged out of the internet and the connections tray doesn't respond so i have shut down and reload the PC for myself to get internet. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening. Please help me! Thanks, Preacher

 | What do you expect from Dial up? Contact your ISP and tell them to test your connection. Have them replace the Modem. Connect using RJ-11 And not USB... Deal with it or Get a better connection.

| Done, So you tried what I suggested? The suggestions stay the same reguardless of Speed. You can also Update windows and the USB Drivers, and or Try a Different USB Port.
