So, using Slackware 10.2 and ndiswrapper version 1.1, I have managed to get my dumb MN 510 to see my network.

The only thing is...I cannot get it to put the essid in the iwconfig, nor can I get my encryption key in :rolleyes:

I was able to once...I dunno why I can't now, but when I got it FULLY connected to my network, I opened KWIFI and checked the signal.

Signal was good.

Noise was non existent. WHA??

So, I still couldn't connect to the internet.

Well, I am glad we have gotten it to see the network. I am happy that I helped you and i dont even have a wireless card lol. I have never used one in my life.

Argh!!

Ok, so I got it to keep all of the entries, and it says it's connected. However, it doesn't browse.

I cannot go into FF or the generic browser, it says what it says when the internet still isn't working.

I have an Adress in iwconfig too, the SAME address when I scan my network.

check /etc/resolv.conf for dns numbers
