Default xubuntu - what specs ??

What specs do xubuntu need.

I got a really ****e laptop.. 64mb ram if that.. 233 ish processor. Would that work ??

Yes, but you'd have to get the "alternate" CD to use the installer, and I do not recommend Ubuntu on systems like that.

You'd be better off with Puppy/Debian/DSL.

Skuzzle,

For Xubuntu it is recomended that To run the Desktop CD at lest 128 megabytes of RAM is required. To use the installed system at least 64 megabytes of RAM is required but 128 is recommended. At least 1.4 gigabytes of disk space is required.

Again I find myself with Macdude on this one you'd be better off using another distro, even for a lightweight distro Xubuntu is heavy. Try these on for size

Vector Linux
