I have dled xubuntu-6.10-desktop-i386.iso and burn with nero. All that i get is DR-DOS. wich i dont belive is what i need because i had anouther copy of ubuntu and it had a graphical interface. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I find it hard to believe that Xubuntu comes with DR-DOS... Or is that what you are calling the command line?

well i just burnt anouther disk, apparently i did burn it wrong. thanks for the reply guess i should have done that before posting but anyways, yes it does or so it says.

with a diff disk yes. and i burnt it diffrently.

Sounds like you confused a dr dos iso file for a xubuntu one, because ubuntu doesn't come with any kind of dos.

That is really bizarre. I'm running the same version of Xubuntu on a notebook & there is no DR-DOS. Must be an ISO mix-up.
