Bah, I looked further into this and it looks like the repos no longer have the correct files in them, since the Compiz project is forking or something

I suppose I will have to wait for a new guide on the Ubuntu Forums or something, I don't feel like hunting down every seperate file thats needed.

Would this work instead? (http://doc.gwos.org/index.php/Xorg_Aiglx_Compiz)

It sucks that I missed my chance by 2 days

What do you mean you missed it by two days?

And that should work, otherwise that page wouldn't exist.

haha yeah that's true

What I meant about the 2 (now 3) days is that they removed the needed files from the repos on Thursday, and I finally decide to try to install it on Saturday

The other guide I found uses different repos, so I am hoping the files will still be there.

Oh, I wasn't aware that Ubuntu removed them from the repos. Whatever, I'm sure there are mirrors that still have them up.

haha yes! I got it working by following this guide (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=268036)

It is way sweeter in person, I love it!

It only works on 2 monitors, though, so I will have to find something I can have the 3rd one doing. And the cube thing is more like a rectangular prism, but I guess thats the price you pay
