it seems like they say it doesn't work yet in wine.

Wine is supposed to run anything windows. The open source wine, the one you are probably using, does not support nearly as many programs as cedega ($5/month) or crossover linux (expensive).

Some apps don't work in WINE yet, but if you're having drive problems you can check in wineconfig (/usr/bin/winecfg or something like that) to set up drives. I dual-boot Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) on 3 of my computers, and I usually just mount my Windows drive as /media/windows and configure it as C: or D: in WINE. Then I can run my Windows apps straight off of my real Windows drive, and if it's NTFS you should use a read/write NTFS driver.

Find the DLL it's complaining about on the internet and put it into the directory where you are launching the EXE.


I gave up on WINE after I realized that I don't actually need it.
