Where can I get a tuturial on install Red hat linux 9?

I have 2 hard drive 5 partitions. I used partion magic to create an ext2 and a swap file partion. I went to install linux and it ask me some partition instructions that I know nothing about when i pick the manual partion option. I won't pick that automatic partition option, because I once did that installing longhorn and it automatically deleted my documents hard drive to install longhorn there. I lost a lot of precious data that way.

Any help is appreciated.

I was concerned when installing 9 at first but the partitioning is very straight foward. use manual of course... and you should have the main /dev/hda. I think you can only use free space to create linux partitions.... so free some space up and create a root partition and a swap partition and you should be good to go.

another tip is not to select a default for the bootloader, that way you get an option of going linux or dos.

just dont delete your windows partition, and you should be safe.
