Default what version of linux

I wanted to install Linux on my box

there is a slight problem, my PS2 based mouse and keyboard are broken, so i only have a USB based mouse and keyboard.

can you tell me what version of linux should i go for, which does not need a PS2 based mouse and keyboard but can be installed using the USB based mouse and keyboard.
