Default Weird Painting in Linux

Thanks for everyone's help installing linux.

I was able to add a user through the failsafe by running drakconf.

I sure hope you guys dont mind me starting new threads, but i have come across a serious problem that resembles my graphics card overheating.

Now, this may not be the problem, but everything in the graphical OS seems to have very strange painting.

It keeps reapinting akwardly, and there are little blocks everywhere.

I assume i need to reconfigure my graphics settings, what do i do?

It sounds like a driver problem too. What is your video card?

It sounds like you need to open xorg and change the parameters of the card.

Get to the console and type xorgconfig

Run through that and put all of the correct settings in.
