Talking Veiws on a MySQL database

I'm still thinking of a distro to use it for I'm think of using SUSE 9.3 i havea all the stuff i need to use Suse for MySQl database, thats all this computer at my school is going to be a web based MySQL database. So im still open to idea on what to use really. And also it would need to allow everyone on the database to add thing and remove them too. I want to see if i can connect from my house to the schools database when it goes up. So i need to make sure i can do all this stuff on a distro and packages. Like i said i have documention for the SUSE 9.3 to make it but i want to know what other i have a choose for. I could use Windows lol but no i want to use Linux aren't you pround im trying to make my school with Linux to show off how much better it is from are crappy Servers from Dell i mean **** that get infected from Virus and crap all the time .

Well, it's your choice and I don't know the first thing about that SQL stuff :bald: , but SuSE 9.3's kernel failed every other time I turned it on...it got so bad that I switched distro's.

Alot of people don't have problems with it though

You're proficient in Debian, which is much better...why not use that?
