I have a General Electric USB optical mouse which has a Suprise Option Feature wherein it works for 10-30 minutes after boot before it simply quits responding.

I honestly have no idea what the deal is here. I'm running Ubuntu Linux 6.06.

Anybody else have this problem? If you need more info, post here and I'll see what I can dig up.

Copy and paste your xorg.conf file here and let us see if we can find anything wrong there.

Do you have this problem in Windows or on any other machines?

I didn't have that problem in Windows. However, I haven't used Windows since Linux kicked it in the nuts.
