Default urgent grub problem!

hello, I had a grub error 22 while booting up. I put my Linux SUSE cd back in and reinstalled grub I thought it had solved the problem as grub loads and a menu appears with linux and windows, but when I click windows it comes up with a message:

chainloader (hd1,0)+1

I have 2 hard drives my 1st has windows xp on it and my 2nd has linux SUSE 10

HELP! also i have tryed fixboot and fixmbr niether work

Can I just reinstall windows as it has its own partition or will this mess my computer up even more?

Ok too late I formatted the partition containing windows and reinstalled seems ok for now.... Although some software wont run anymore as its missing files. I hope it will run ok and I dont plan on installing linux again for awhile yet!
