Default Ubuntu Linux installation

I remember when I installed a linux distro on my computer. I had to change something to make it work. Like I had to make something primary or something so it can but the live CD, it's not booting the live CD, even when it's burnt as a "Bootable CD". How can I make it boot.

Tankhead,

Which burning program are you using, in my experience NERO is the best for burning .iso images. Here are the steps to burn an iso image:

D/L the .iso image onto your HDD
Then open nero or another burning app
Select 'burn image to CD' option
select the location of image, and the image you wish to burn
click the 'burn' button

OR

I can send you A copy e-mail me or PM me, give me your post adress and we can take it from there.

If you want to burn ISO's in windows try Deepburner, its available from download.com and is both free and legal.
