Default Ubuntu breakage

Anyone elses die yesterday/this morning.

Xserver problems due to an update.. funnily enough there was another update by 9:00 this morning that fixed it...

Top work though it scared me for a minute being fairly new to linux.. had to hunt out the debian installation memories and open up aptitude.. top stuff, lol

Yeah I got the same thing. I always look at my updates so I immediatley knew it was the broken update. I just did a "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" and it was fixed. They put up the fixed version right away.

I am worried about the non-knowledgable people getting this problem and dumping linux because they can't fix it
