Default Transparent DVD Decryption

Hi All,

I would like to know if anyone knows if it is possible to mount (and share) a DVD drive with the CSS decryption being done transparently by the debian box containing the drive. I have a media player that can play back the standard DVD files over the network, but cannot decrypt the CSS.

In theory libdvdread3 will transparently perform the decryption and allow the protected DVD to be read as a block device, but does anyone know of any utilities out there that will let me mount the drive as the decrypted device?

Many thanks
