I tried to download redhat and stuff, but it takes **** long time. Is there any tricks to do it faster. I tried to do it from WS_FTP as well but it's same, after few hrs I decided better leave it. I am in broadband connection

If visit tomshardware.com in an article called "Migrating to Linix: Part I" you can find a link that will send you to a website to purchase the CDs for a few bucks. They also mention that when you download it from the servers there could be another 2000 users downloading it also.

Just buy a cd. It'll save you some frustration. It's best to have a hard copy anyway.

im on broadband and it only took me about 2 hours or so to dload each 700mb iso, trying using a dload manager such as flashget, it will open 5 simulataneous(sp) dloads from the server to try and use all of ur bandwidth and then just let it dload overnite or something while u sleep. even if it takes u 8 hours it should b done in the morning
