Default Testing Distros

Is it possible to have more than one distro installed at a time on the same hard drive? I want to have a test partition on my hdd and a big partition. The big part will have my standard distro and the test one will have my test distro. I have an urge to install Debian with the installer.

sure, you can have a whole bunch on one hard drive, limit is probably the size of the MBR or bootloader being used, 5 or 6 is definitely doable

Well, what I'm going to do is have a big partition for the standard distro and have its bootloader on the MBR. Then I'll have a boot partition and second partition for trhe test distro. I will put the bootloader for the second distro n the boot partition and have teh M BR bootloader point to the bootloader on the boot partition through a .bin image made using dd if=...
