Hi,

I run Ubuntu 5.10 and I am starting to have trouble with Synaptic.
The error is as a screenshot

I have been using Ubuntu 5.10 for a while now but i still havn't got the jist of using it so how can i find the sources list

Hit Alt+F2, type "gedit /etc/apt/sources.list" then hit enter

Then, open a terminal, run sudo apt-get update, and try again.
