Default SSH Log file

I have been using ssh for a while now and i just recently created a very limited account so that my friends could log in and use my computer as an anonymous, encrypted web proxy to get around my schools filters, and i was wondering if there is a file that logs what users logged in at what time and from what host.

I am using sshd on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS
