Default Source Code?

Does anyone happen to know of a place were I can get a source code of an up to date distro. It doesn't really matter what distro it is (preferably a small one, but whatever) I searched on google and I haven't had much luck. Thanks

Most distros have a src repository where all of the package sources are. There is also kernel sources with the distro patches too.

if you really want to get your hands dirty, try Linux from scratch (i believe that's the name?).. it teaches you how to build ur own distro, personally i've never tried it, but that's the way to go if you want to dig deeper

http://www.gnu.org

http://www.kernel.org

that will give you the base part of the linux software

some places like slackware.com also offer all the software included in their distros, discs 3 and 4 in slackware are the source code and docs
