alextrzaska True Techie Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 126	small problem with ubuntu ok i had ubuntu on my computer for a long time now, but all of a sudden this new problem just came up, when ever i boot linux everything works great until i discover that linux runs like it should but with out no graphic user inteface, its just shell, i log in by typing in my user name and password but HOW DO I GET THE GRAPHIC USER INTEFACE BACK.???

Try typing 'startx' as root at see what it does.
