Default Slackware Problem!

I had just finshed a Slackware installtion on a computer and restarted my computer, it boots fine and opens LILO, i select my partion and loads. It seems like it is booting in failsafe and it asks me to login as root. Next I login and it brings up bash. Is there a command that I have to enter to make it boot to the actual desktop or did I do something wrong in the installtion.

What I did in the installtion--

Used my sata drive and a partion of 81 GB

Installed all 3GB of software

Installed LILO as master boot record

and finished

If you want me to take a pic or a movie of what its doing let me know

Default

log in as root
type xorgconfig and hit return, configure X
then type xwmconfig and hit return, pick a GUI
then type startx and test it
log out of x
type adduser <pick_user_name>
create a user
type alsaconfig and hit return, config sound
type alsamixer if that worked and fix volume levels
type netconfig to configure internet settings
log out as root
log back in as user you created
type startx
enjoy
