Default Slackware or Debian?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a distribution to replace my openSUSE 10.2 install.

I'm stuck between Slack and Debian, but I will also take other suggestions for a new distribution.

It must:

Play MP3s, WMVs, and MPEGs.
Connect to the internet.
Install new programs easily.
Connect and share folders with my windows network.
Be easy to use.

I'm leaning more towards Slack. But I'd like to see the pros and cons of each.

Thanks, Erich.
