I Googled for this but found no answer. I downloaded Sauerbraten (Cube 2) and it installs and runs fine, but there is no sound. In the terminal when it starts up it says "sound init failed (SDL_mixer): No available audio device." The SDL_mixer is installed. I ran it once and the sound worked fine, but it hasn't worked since. I'd like to try out this game, but I need sound.

Any suggestions?

I found that if I kill ESD and start the game a few times it eventually works. I'm still looking for a better solution, though.
